Mission Statement

The Astor Chamber of Commerce was organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Astor area, it's businesses and organizations. All necessary means of promotion will be provided to our members with Particular attention to emphasis given to the economic, civic, and educational interest of the area.

Tourism Statement

The tourism committee's expressed objective is to expand awareness of the benefits of visiting the Astor Area as a unique destination in Central Florida with an abundance of opportunities for nature tourism in the unspoiled areas of "Olde Florida". The goal of the committee is to assist Chamber members in marketing of the area as a sportsman's and nature paradise through printed materials at travel expos and at visitor centers throughout Florida.
